The secrets of change




Change is hard most people know that, so how can we make it easier to accept and understand. Well I always revert to the Bill & Ted 2 step method.


Step 1: Be excellent to each other -

Make sure you take the time to engage with and understand the people who are involved the change your making.

Keep them informed of progress whether that is good or bad

Invite their opinions and ideas of how to land the change, after all if they are invested in the change and understand they will feel part of it and want it to succeed.


Step 2: Party On Dudes -

Make sure there is a party (remember them, when you could meet people in a pub or restaurant)

It doesn't have to be lavish or paid for but it just makes people feel rewarded for their efforts. It also helps pave the way for future changes by having allies.
